2020 Chevy 2500HD. The Chevy 2500HD and 3500HD 2020 models are expected to bring design signals and construction technologies from the new Silverado light-service vehicle to the service class. They will offer maximum load capacity increase and maximum capacity pull. The 3500HD includes dual rear wheels known as “Dually”. The full Chevy 2500HD will be redesigned for the 2020 model. Unfortunately, full details are not yet disclosed. At this moment, the only solid information is the stimulus picture described above.
Vehicles that were shot during the test 2020 Chevy 2500HD and 3500HD are frequently shown, both in the four-door Crew Cab configuration, with a look similar to their smaller sisters 2019 Chevy 2500HD. The silhouette follows the same lines, with high-tech headlamps and LEDs and similar LED patterns. Variations in 2020 Chevy 2500HD and 3500HD include aggressive front grille that looks more vertical than the Silverado 1500. The large trucks also have wide side mirrors and amber lights mounted on the surface – suggesting they are more than 80 inches wide. It is not clear whether the Air Curtains in the front grille of the Silverado 1500 will go into heavy models. Other features, such as the new sealing technology that allowed General Motors to sculpt an additional 6.7 inches of display in the pick-up bed, will most likely appear on the 2500-3500HD.
At present, the heavy-duty Chevrolet trucks offer a 6.0-liter V8 with 360 horsepower and a torque of 380 lbs. There is also a turbo diesel engine of the 6.6-liter Duramax with 445 horsepower and torque of 910 lbs. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The gasoline engine is highly favored by commercial fleets, which give priority to total cost as well as strength and durability, according to a Chevrolet spokesperson. Personal buyers prefer a turbo-diesel engine at 85 to 90 per cent.
The all-new Silverado 1500 is expected to reach dealers in the second half of this year. It is not yet known when the year 2020 Chevy 2500HD and 3500HD publicly. Competitors include Ford F-250, RAM 2500 and GMC Sierra Chevy 2500HD. The Silverado 1500-3500 models are a major sales force for General Motors. The company sold more than 585,000 trucks in 2017, up 1.9 percent from 2016, according to Autodata Corp. Silverado sales in January rose by 14.5 per cent over the same month in 2017. Large trucks are of great value to the automotive industry because they achieve higher profit margins than passenger cars. Trucks are increasingly providing high-end luxury and advanced technology features. Based on the usual production schedules, we expect a date of liberalization in the fall of 2019.
